The Truth About Dawkins

OK, so I was reading Richard Dawkins's "The God Delusion" the other day. Dawkins constantly invokes people like Pat Robertson to prove his point about religion is stupid and the like. However, Dawkins's approach to his beliefs and tone towards those who do not share them is no different from that displayed by Christian fundamentalist demagogues like Pat Robertson. Sometimes, it seems like the atheists created a clone of Robertson and conditioned him to be atheist while retaining all of his worst personality traits. Sure, Dawkins never called for assassinating anybody (as far as I can tell) but he does tend to use a very derogatory attitude to those who show the slightest disagreement with him.
BTW: Before you start jumping up and down and call me a fundamentalist Christian or the like, I am actually not a follower of Christianity (sorry :)or any other organized religion. I'm a deist.
