Creationist Demotivator

Description

Having previously directed my ire towards obnoxious atheists, I now turn and vent on young-earth creationists. It's pretty amusing the lengths to which they'll go in order to deny the truth of human ancestry.
The chart is from here:[link]
I couldn't fit it all into the poster, but hopefully I got enough in there to prove the point.

While I am in disagreement over the eventual conclusions some so called "Creationists" reach & ascribe themselves to....

I do agree with them on two points.

1) God Word is able to Stand as Truth, even when the depths to which science, archaeological, geological, and historical investigations have managed to delve. Human made interpretations of all the above, are however naturally limited in nature. For obvious reasons.

2) Objective consideration of God's Word, in light of new discoveries, is warranted before just arbitrarily dismissing the Biblical Narratives. (Ie: one must think about this, before just deciding God's Word is wrong. That's similar to just accepting something that sounds scientific at face value. )

With regards to the Fossil Record & Creationists attempting to rejigger/redefine whatever science/etcetera exists...

What exactly is preventing God, as described in the Bible, from logically creating the world with a Backstory that makes sense on its own? It's own 4 billion year history, let's say??

The question which, renders most of what I hear from certain portions of Creationists useless and redundant.

Because it also renders most of the objections that are based upon scientific/etcetera theories, inappropriate for application in arguing.

This said, humanity's history is... definitely more delicate to parse. Though Fossils are just that, Fossils.

It's the archaeological evidence that I'm still struggling with.

Mostly because of how long such things appeared to have lasted, in comparison with the biblical timeline since the Flood.

Anything beforehand, can be considered re created by how God works when "healing".

Blind & Lame men... don't recognize people on sight, or know how to walk... if it's only their sight/legs being fixed.

How much more so, when fixing up the Earth after the Flood??
